Bethany Arellanes

Director of Marketing and Events

As KYU's Director of Marketing and Events, Bethany Arellanes brings 19 years of hospitality experience to the Asian-fusion, wood-fired dining destination. Born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, Lucas has always loved creating small moments of joy for others, which led her to study Hospitality Management and Communications at Florida State University.

Prior to joining KYU's New York location, Lucas worked as the general manager at multiple well-known establishments, including Edition Hotel's Sunset-West Hollywood and Paradise Club-Times Square in NYC. Bethany spent 8 years working specifically in Japanese restaurants, including Nobu and Zuma, where her love for Japanese cuisine blossomed.

She currently lives in Manhattan, where she enjoys playing the piano, working out, and hanging out at the park with her dog, Phoenix.
